Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented DevOps Engineer to join our team! In this role you will get to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Work on the daily development and refinement of our proprietary suite of analytic tools. 
• Analyze, design, and develop automation for the construction and installation of software in a multitude of production environments.
• Review system architecture and select and implement appropriate build and support tools to ensure product performance and testing.
• Be involved in quick reaction development with opportunities for customer interaction on a team that is focused on developing superior products and encouraging the career growth of its members.
  

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Computer Security, Information Technology or related discipline. Additional years of experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Must have 5+ years of relevant professional experience
• Active Secret clearance is required
• Experience in Linux Development Environments (RHEL, Rocky, Ubuntu)
• Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Podman, Containerd)
• Experience with scripting languages (Bash, Python, Groovy)
• Experience with deployment automation (Ansible, Packer, Cloud-init)
• Experience developing CI/CD Pipelines (Jenkins or equivalent)
• Experience with virtualization platforms (vSphere, ESXi, or equivalent)
• Experience with source code repository tools (Git or equivalent)

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

• Experience with Kubernetes constructs (Helm, Zarf)
• Experience in applying server configuration hardening
• Experience with Agile development practices
• Experience in cloud environments (AWS or equivalent)

Security Clearance Requirement:

An active Secret security clearance is required for this position.​

Salary Range: $103,500.00 - $181,100.00
