Job Description:

Parsons is looking for a talented Product Support Technician to join our team! In this role, you will support the integration, testing, and fielding of unmanned systems, autonomy software, and tactical network equipment.

You will work with engineers, test personnel, and operators to configure equipment, prepare systems for testing, support laboratory and field activities, and provide feedback on hardware and software performance. This is an excellent opportunity to work with advanced technology and contribute to mission-critical operations while developing expertise in unmanned systems, tactical communications, and engineering test support.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Support the setup, configuration, operation, and testing of unmanned and robotic systems, including UAVs, ground control stations, sensors, and autonomy software.
• Assist engineers and test personnel with system integration, mission planning, developmental testing, and field exercises.
• Configure and troubleshoot basic network connections, IP addresses, radios, switches, and related tactical communications equipment.
• Support the operation and testing of wireless, mesh, VHF/UHF, MANET, satellite communications, and other tactical network systems.
• Assist with the use, configuration, and troubleshooting of the TAK ecosystem.
• Prepare, stage, operate, and recover laboratory and field support equipment, including trailers, generators, vehicles, toolkits, and communications gear.
• Maintain equipment accountability, readiness, inventory records, consumables, spares, and supplies.
• Support logistics planning and execution for CONUS test events, including transportation, equipment delivery, power, environmental support, and site coordination.
• Provide on-site technical and logistics support during test events, including basic troubleshooting and coordination with range and site representatives.
• Assist with equipment teardown, recovery, inspection, documentation, and the safe return of government and contractor property.

Required Clearance:

• Must be a U.S. Citizen and posses an active Secret clearance
  
  

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Associate's Degree in Engineering Technology or related field and 2+ years experience. Additional years experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Experience working with unmanned systems, robotics, autonomous systems, or related hardware and software.
• Basic to intermediate knowledge of tactical, RF, or wireless communications systems.
• Familiarity with one or more of the following: VHF/UHF radios, MANET, satellite communications, Link 16, mesh networks, or tactical networking equipment.
• Familiarity with UAV control software, ground control stations, or mission planning tools.
• Ability to configure, operate, inspect, and troubleshoot technical equipment.
• Experience supporting integration laboratories, developmental testing, field exercises, or equipment demonstrations.
• Familiarity with the TAK ecosystem.
• Ability to read and follow technical instructions, schematics, equipment manuals, test procedures, and safety requirements.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Ability to travel to CONUS test ranges and work in field or austere environments as required.
• FAA Part 107 certification or the ability to obtain certification within an agreed-upon timeframe.

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

• Current CompTIA Security+ certification or the ability to obtain certification within 60 days of employment.
• Experience with engineering integration labs, test ranges, or operational support environments.
• Experience with basic network troubleshooting and IP address configuration.
• Experience with RF communications equipment, tactical radios, or satellite communications systems.
• Experience supporting unmanned aircraft, ground vehicles, robotic systems, or autonomous platforms.
• Familiarity with Agile or continuous development environments.

Security Clearance Requirement:

An active Secret security clearance is required for this position.​

Salary Range: $22.93 - $40.14
