Job Summary:

The Program Quality Engineering Lead will provide in-depth knowledge of Quality Management System requirements to support Production efforts for Proprietary Programs. They will work closely with the external customer and industrial partners. They will help develop and monitor quality metrics, develop objective evidence to support customer deliverables, and support supplier selection and requirements flow down.

This is an onsite role.

Responsibilities to Anticipate:

• Develop partnerships with senior leaders, Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), and functions to define steps necessary to implement Quality strategies.
• Perform process walks and use metrics to drive quality improvements across factories and suppliers.
• Review engineering drawings and support Engineering Review Board (ERB) / Configuration Change Board (CCB) as the quality representative.
• Lead and perform root cause analysis, facilitate corrective actions, and implement closed loop process controls along with continuous improvement methods.
• Review contract deliverables and coordinate with program personnel and Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) for DD250 sell-off / customer acceptance.

Basic Qualifications:

• Typically requires Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and eight (8) years of engineering experience.
• Working experience in root cause analysis, corrective / preventive actions
• Working experience using metrics to drive action and achieve results.
• Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
• Ability to maintain additional clearances supporting Proprietary Programs.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP).
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 and/or AS9100 Quality Management Systems.
• Knowledge of Supplier Quality Engineering.
• Certification in Six Sigma, CORE, or American Society for Quality (ASQ).

Onsite: Employees who are working in onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.
