Job Summary:

The Hardware Production and Support Program (HP&S) team is looking for a Program Cost Control Specialist. The successful candidate will be looking to make the next career step into a high visibility franchise program. This position will provide you with the opportunity to work on a DFARs Earned Value program with the benefit of full integration with Engineering, Integrated Supply Chain and Operations content. This will provide for a well-rounded experience within program controls. The candidate will be a direct report of the HP&S Program Business Manager.

This position will be an integral part of a fast-paced finance team where multitasking and individual initiative are key requirements. This individual may also be required to support senior level projects and other ad hoc data reporting. This role will provide the successful candidate the opportunity to develop into a leadership position within the SPY-6 program controls team.

This position is being offered in a fully remote capacity and is based on the needs of the business.

Responsibilities to Anticipate:

  • Execute a variety of program and financial control activities, including internal and external deliverables

  • Support the creation and review of all external financial deliverables for the HP&S program. These deliverables include IPMDAR’s, CFSR’s, Monthly Progress Reports, Annual CCDR/CSDR and WBS Dictionary

  • Internal deliverables include creating monthly EVMS reporting and analysis documents (i.e Stoplight/WSA/WSD) along with creating, analyzing, and correcting EVMS Data Anomalies, DCMA tripwires and LRE/EAC files

  • EVMS oversight, review of variance analysis, and baseline change requests (BCR)

  • You will also ensure compliance with the Raytheon EVMS policy and guidelines along with the DFARs and ANSI/EIA Standard 748 EVMS guidelines, as well as coordination of all (internal/external) Integrated Baseline Reviews, Joint Surveillance activities and monthly SPY-6 EVMS reviews.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a Business, Finance, or related field

  • Typically requires 5 years of related experience; OR an Advanced degree and 3 years of related experience

  • Experience interfacing and conducting business with various functional disciplines (Contracts, Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, etc)

  • Experience in using SAP Business Systems or similar tools (ex: MPM, APEX, Cobra)

  • Experience in providing business support for contract activities, utilizing cost/schedule performance measurement systems (Earned Value Management System)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with PMX

  • Experience in developing EAC’s, budgets and forecasts including variance analysis

  • Experience with  computer skills, particularly in the use of MS Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)

  • Advanced Excel Proficiency (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, advanced formulas)

  • Strong presentation, communication, and professional skills and the ability to work independently and with some supervision and oversight

  • Experience in  meeting critical deadlines and develop and apply solutions and process improvements

  • Experience working independently and with higher levels of management

  • Analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills

  • Understanding of AOP and 5 year processes, program forecasting and metrics

  • Ability to effectively work in a challenging and fast paced environment

The salary range for this role is 75,000 USD - 161,000 USD; however, RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.
