Summary:

The Quality Discipline Chief is the designated technical expert who reaches across NB Quality for the development and implementation of world class processes and tools driving enhancements to existing quality programs within Pratt & Whitney. Extensive knowledge in Quality Systems, a strong understanding of Pratt & Whitney's Quality Management system requirements and procedures, as well as a proven ability to facilitate a cross functional team to resolve complex technical problems are critical to this function.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assessing and Improving Discipline health across Quality for QMS in North Berwick; development of training, and sharing of best practice for Quality across North Berwick

  • Participating on Industry and Corporate teams for development of procedures and requirements

  • Development, Review and Approval of Quality Standard Work

  • Active Mentoring of quality engineers

  • Supporting Industry, Regulatory and Customers Quality needs

  • Working closely with Customers to ensure compliance and satisfaction with Pratt & Whitney’s Product; be the subject matter expert for North Berwick Quality questions and support

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree and minimum 10 years' experience in an engineering, manufacturing, program/project management or quality environment or a Master's degree and minimum 7 years' experience in an engineering, manufacturing, program/project management or quality environment field and minimum 7 years experience

  • Certified Quality Engineer (CQE)

  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract

Additional Information:

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen. This position may require access to systems/tools that are restricted to individuals who possess US citizenship

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.

Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility.
