Manager, Health, People Consulting
Overview
Our Health Workforce Transformation & People Experience team partners with healthcare organisations to solve complex workforce and organisational challenges. We help clients improve workforce effectiveness, redesign operating models, deliver sustainable productivity improvements and implement digitally enabled large-scale transformation programmes.
As a Manager, you will lead workstreams and support delivery of transformative programmes across the healthcare sector while contributing to the growth and development of our Health People Consulting practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day delivery of workforce and organisational transformation projects.
- Manage project plans, risks, governance and stakeholder engagement activities.
- Design and deliver solutions across workforce and digital transformation, change management, organisation design and operating models..
- Facilitate senior stakeholder workshops and client working sessions.
- Manage client relationships and act as a trusted advisor across project workstreams.
- Support proposal development, bids and go-to-market activities.
- Identify opportunities for additional client support and growth.
- Coach, mentor and develop junior team members.
- Contribute to development of Health People Consulting methodologies, tools and intellectual property.
Skills & Experience
- Experience delivering transformation programmes within healthcare organisations or through healthcare consulting.
- Strong understanding of NHS providers, Integrated Care Systems and wider health sector challenges.
- Experience across one or more of:
- Change Management & Communications
- Digital Transformation
- Workforce Transformation
- Organisation Design
- Operating Model Design
- Strategic Workforce Planning
- Productivity & Improvement
- Strong project and programme management capability.
- Experience presenting to senior stakeholders and building trusted relationships.
- Commercial awareness and experience supporting business development.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant health related subject or a related field or equivalent experience.
- Professional services experience in a healthcare context.
- In-depth knowledge of the UK healthcare trends in the UK.
Location:
This role is based in London or one our EY’s regional offices. National travel will be required as will travel to our EY Headquarters.
