Financial Analyst, Indirect Accounts Payable & Coupa Support, Indirect AP- FINOPS - Austin | Amazon Job

Job Description

This Financial Analyst position supports Whole Foods Market's Indirect Accounts Payable function and the Coupa application. The role is responsible for indirect invoice processing, exception handling, and day-to-day Coupa support across Coupa, PeopleSoft, and Workday.

Key job responsibilities
- Process indirect invoices across Coupa or Workday
- Coordinate and perform quality review (QA) of offshore team output
- Provide Coupa application support to WFM team members and suppliers
- Build and maintain supplier and business-partner relationships
- Leverage approved AI applications to automate processes where possible and analyze AP-related data
- Prepare and maintain standard operating documentation (SOPs) for all tasks
- Cross-train on and support month-end Coupa accruals and related reconciliations
- Conduct software/UAT testing for Coupa and payment processes in lower test environments as needed and communicate effectively with product and tech business partners
- Proactively troubleshoot complex invoice and Coupa issues, taking ownership from identification through resolution
- Support all functions of the team and perform other related duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications:

- 1+ years of Accounts Receivable or Account Payable experience
- 1+ years of finance experience
- 2+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics or a highly analytical field (e.g., Engineering, Math, and Computer Science)
- Knowledge of standard software including Excel, Access, Oracle, Essbase, SQL and VBA skills
- Experience using data to influence business decisions

Preferred Qualifications:

- 2+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience
- Experience problem solving and root cause analysis

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
