Amazon Health Services (AHS) Learning & Development is transforming how healthcare professionals learn, grow, and lead. We’re seeking a senior Learning Program Manager who is the end-to-end owner of our leadership development portfolio. This is a program management–driven role: you will build workback schedules, manage stakeholders and dependencies, and drive AHS leadership programs from needs analysis through delivery and evaluation. On top of that core, you bring instructional design expertise and confident facilitation skills, stepping in to design and deliver programs directly when the business needs it.
The ideal candidate pairs strong program management with deep instructional design expertise and confident facilitation. Rather than building every program from scratch, you adapt and “lift and shift” proven Amazon leadership programs to the regulatory realities of healthcare, building net-new only where a genuine gap exists. You think big, move fast, influence without authority, and flex to other work as business needs evolve.


Key job responsibilities
• Own the end-to-end design and development of AHS leadership programs for clinical and non-clinical leaders — from needs analysis through build, pilot, and iteration.
• Program manage the leadership portfolio: build workback schedules, manage stakeholders and dependencies, coordinate SMEs, and report status and risks to senior leadership.
• Facilitate and deliver leadership programs directly (ILT and VILT), and train-the-trainer to scale delivery across sites.
• Curate and adapt (“lift and shift”) proven Amazon leadership programs to the AHS healthcare context, building net-new only where a validated gap exists.
• Embed leadership programs into learning journeys and build manager toolkits supporting the full employee lifecycle (hiring, development, retention, succession).
• Own end-to-end learning strategy for complex, cross-functional programs, partnering with senior business leaders to turn business problems into measurable learning solutions.
• Design across all modalities and build measurement blueprints tracking learner experience, effectiveness, proficiency, and operational impact.
• Leverage AI-powered tools to accelerate development, and establish quality standards for learning content across the organization.

Basic Qualifications:

- 5+ years of program or project management experience
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership

Preferred Qualifications:

- 2+ years of driving process improvements experience
- Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field
- Knowledge of general AI tools
- Experience designing, implementing, and scaling upskilling, apprenticeship, or workforce development programs across large-scale operations or corporate environments, including forecasting workforce needs and leveraging analytics to drive program decisions

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
