Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for an Engineering Quality Manager for Flight Control System developments (M/F) to join our Department Quality Engineering Overall Systems in Toulouse, France.

As Quality Business Manager for the Engineering Systems Community, your main role will be to ensure the highest quality level of the engineering projects. The final ambition is to improve Design Right First Time in order to prevent any issues throughout the aircraft life cycle.

Your challenges :

In this role, you will be the quality partner for our Flight Control and autoflight systems development teams. You will work directly with systems and designers, guide risk management activities, and ensure our robust design processes are applied seamlessly to deliver right-first-time engineering solutions.

• Process Support and Coaching : coach the engineering teams to ensure full adherence to design processes, maximize deliverable quality, and achieve engineering excellence.
• Process Assurance Excellence : Conduct Process Assurance Reviews and serve as a quality panel member in Design Reviews. You will establish clear evidence of compliance to Formalized specifications development processes following the V-cycle, from specifications to integration and validation of certifiable embedded softwares. You help teams to identify gaps and define recovery actions ahead of program milestones.
• Proactive Risk Management : Facilitate Design Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (DFMEA) sessions to anticipate and mitigate potential design risks.
• Continuous Improvement : Lead Practical Problem Solving (PPS) initiatives to resolve complex issues, and leverage digital tools and analytics to enhance quality methods.
• Quality Culture : Promote and embed a strong quality mindset across all contributing engineering teams.

• Soft Skills over Perfection : Because this role relies heavily on human interaction and coaching, your open mindset and willingness to support others are just as crucial as your technical expertise.
• Language : Professional fluency in English.
