  • Collaborate with developers, architects and business leaders to understand innovation activities and technical challenges.
  • Prepare technical analyses, project narratives and supporting documentation for client claims.

  • Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver incentive and innovation funding engagements.
  • Build expertise in technology, government incentives and innovation funding while supporting a diverse client base.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • A collaborative approach and ability to thrive in multidisciplinary teams.
  • Curiosity, adaptability and a passion for technology, innovation and continuous learning.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality client service.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Typically, 2 or more years of relevant experience in software development, information technology, systems architecture, data engineering or a related technical field.
  • Previous practical experience evaluating, documenting or supporting technology development projects is an asset.
  • Experience working with modern software development methodologies, cloud technologies, data platforms or emerging technologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze complex technical activities, manage multiple priorities and communicate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.
  • Experience with the SRED program, government incentives or innovation funding programs is an asset.

Ideally, you’ll also have

  • An MBA or business-related credential.
  • Experience working with technology-focused organizations, from startups to large enterprises.
  • An interest in combining technical expertise with business, tax and innovation strategy.
