As a Cloud Operations intern, you will be responsible for supporting a growing Cloud environment both for AWS and Azure platforms. Working closely with Client Infrastructure Services, Production Engineering and R&D teams, the Cloud Operations intern will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of the cloud environment. Must be able to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, monitor performance, and manage cloud resources. The Cloud Operations intern must have strong technical skills and be able to effectively communicate with other team members and stakeholders.

  

Primary Responsibilities

• Assist with business case development and execution for cloud initiatives
• Support the automated monitoring and reporting of cloud infrastructure health, performance and cost control.
• Support the monitoring, updating, optimization, redundancy, stability of cloud systems.
• Support security-related aspects of the infrastructure, including compliance and other standards relevant to RTX policies.
• Assist all support teams and services with cloud questions, systems design, problem resolution, etc.

Basic Qualifications

• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor's or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.
• Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee or asylee) or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of AWS, Azure, Bash, Terraform & Powershell
• Container support for AKS/EKS/K8S
• Programing languages such as Python, Java, .Net
• Linux and Windows OS

Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home).  An employee may be expected to travel to the site location as needed.
