Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will have experience creating, executing, and managing various subcontract types (Cost Type, Firm Fixed, T&M, etc.), and using source selection techniques. The role will require the candidate to perform cost and price analysis, develop negotiation strategies and lead supplier negotiations. In addition, the ideal candidate will have experience executing to customer requirements including government regulations and Raytheon policies and procedures. The role requires the candidate to participate in gate reviews and capture / proposal efforts. This position will also be responsible for ensuring supply chain competitiveness and performance throughout the lifecycle of the program (new business capture, proposal, execution, and contract closure.) 

This position is currently designated as fully remote. However, the successful candidate will be required to work from one of the 50 U.S. states (excluding U.S. Territories).

Responsibilities To Anticipate:

• Manage subcontracts and represent Supply Chain organization at various levels on functional and cross-functional teams to drive business success. Prepare subcontract documentation in accordance with established company, customer, and government regulations.
• Negotiate and administer Firm Fixed Price subcontracts.
• Evaluate, identify, and select suppliers and business partners.
• Generate and negotiate Teaming Agreements and other related agreements.
• Work closely with Program Office representatives and Engineering to define and implement procurement strategies and develop subcontract Statements of Work.
• Solicit proposals from prospective subcontractors and employs value analysis techniques to analyze cost/price, technical capability, and financial viability, conducting investigations to ensure ability to perform within cost and schedule.
• Monitor and report cost, schedule and status of subcontractors and recommends or implements corrective action as necessary.

Basic Qualifications: 

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s and a minimum of 2 years prior relevant experience, or an Advance Degree in a related field.
• Previous experience making presentations (verbal and/or written) to key stakeholders
• Experience in managing suppliers or projects
• U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee or asylee) or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations required. https://www.ecfr.gov/current/title-22/chapter-I/subchapter-M/part-120/subpart-C/section-120.62

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Experience with Firm Fixed Price (FFP) subcontract type
• Prior experience working in the defense industry
• Working knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR and DFARS)
• Experience with SAP or PRISM
• Experience with import/export regulations (ITAR/EAR)
• Experience in desktop computing tools (MS Project)

Additional Information:

Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home).  An employee may be expected to travel to the site location as needed. 

The salary range for this role is 62,000 USD - 124,000 USD; however, RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
