The Role and Impact
As a SoC Logic Design Engineer, you will play a vital role in developing and optimizing the front-end design for Intel's cutting-edge System-on-Chip (SoC) technology. Day-to-day, you will focus on register transfer level (RTL) coding, logic design, and integration of IP components to deliver high-quality SoCs. Your work will directly impact Intel's ability to deliver innovative solutions that power exceptional user experiences across diverse devices such as laptops, desktops, and tablets.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement logic design, RTL coding, and simulation for SoC designs.
• Integrate and validate IP blocks and subsystems into complete SoC architectures.
• Perform quality checks to ensure power, performance, timing, and design integrity goals are met.
• Collaborate with IP providers and cross-functional teams to resolve RTL test failures and ensure functionality.
• Review verification plans and ensure architectural features are properly validated.
• Apply secure development practices to address security objectives within the design.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Systems Engineering, or a related field.
• 0-1 years of hands-on experience in logic design, RTL coding, or SoC development, with demonstrated skills gained through internships, academic projects, coursework, or hands-on training.
• Proficiency in System Verilog, Verilog, or similar hardware description languages.
• Understanding of RTL integration and validation methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in a relevant field with no prior professional experience required.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to debug complex designs.

• Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-site teams and stakeholders.

• Prior experience with IP interoperability and SoC design workflows.

• Familiarity with documentation processes, such as test plan creation and coverage analysis.
