Work Arrangement: This role is categorized as onsite. this means the successful candidate to report to the GM office full time.
The Role:
The Cadillac Sales Planning Manager is responsible for developing and executing sales plans that support Cadillac’s volume, revenue, and brand objectives. The role leads sales forecasting, volume and mix planning, inventory monitoring, dealer target setting, and performance analysis across the Cadillac portfolio.
Working closely with sales, marketing, supply chain, logistics, finance, aftersales, and the dealer network, the manager ensures that sales plans are aligned with market demand, vehicle availability, pricing strategy, and Cadillac’s premium brand positioning.
What You'll Do:
Sales Planning and Forecasting
- Develop monthly, quarterly, and annual sales plans for the Cadillac portfolio.
- Prepare accurate sales forecasts based on market demand, historical performance, customer orders, vehicle availability, and business priorities.
- Monitor planned versus actual sales performance and identify gaps, risks, and recovery actions.
- Recommend volume, model, and variant mix priorities to maximize sales opportunities and business results.
- Translate business objectives into clear sales targets and actionable plans for the dealer network.
Volume, Mix, and Inventory Management
- Track vehicle allocations, pipeline, stock levels, shipments, arrivals, and dealer inventory across the Cadillac portfolio.
- Align sales plans with product availability, logistics timelines, and expected market demand.
- Identify potential overstock, shortages, delayed arrivals, or model-mix risks and recommend corrective actions.
- Support allocation and distribution decisions to ensure the right products are available in the right markets and dealerships.
- Maintain clear visibility of current and future vehicle availability to support sales execution and customer commitments.
Dealer Sales Performance
- Set and monitor dealer sales targets in line with market potential, inventory availability, and Cadillac business objectives.
- Provide dealers with regular updates on targets, vehicle availability, product changes, and sales priorities.
- Analyze dealer performance and identify opportunities to improve productivity, conversion, model mix, and customer satisfaction.
- Support dealer business reviews with clear performance insights, action plans, and follow-up tracking.
- Act as a key point of contact for dealer inquiries related to sales plans, targets, product availability, and commercial priorities.
Commercial and Market Analysis
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, customer demand, pricing movements, and premium-segment developments.
- Provide analysis and recommendations to support pricing, incentive, launch, and sales strategy decisions.
- Evaluate the impact of foreign exchange movements, price changes, supply constraints, and market conditions on sales performance.
- Support business cases and scenario planning for new model launches, product changes, and market opportunities.
- Ensure sales planning assumptions are data-driven, commercially sound, and aligned with Cadillac brand standards.
Reporting and Business Reviews
- Prepare regular sales performance reports, forecasts, dashboards, and management updates.
- Track key performance indicators, including sales volume, retail performance, order bank, inventory days, model mix, dealer achievement, and forecast accuracy.
- Highlight key variances, risks, and opportunities and provide clear recommendations to management.
- Lead or support monthly and quarterly sales planning reviews with internal stakeholders and the dealer network.
- Maintain accurate planning files, assumptions, reporting tools, and performance records.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with sales, marketing, product, supply chain, logistics, finance, aftersales, and dealer network teams.
- Coordinate sales plans with product launches, marketing campaigns, allocation decisions, pricing actions, and customer delivery commitments.
- Ensure timely communication of commercial priorities, changes, risks, and required actions.
- Drive alignment between Cadillac’s sales strategy and day-to-day execution across all relevant stakeholders.
Your Skills & Abilities ( Required Qualification )
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Economics, Engineering or a related field.
- 5 ~ 7 Years of experience i same field.
- Significant experience in automotive sales planning, commercial operations, sales analysis, or a related function.
- Strong understanding of automotive sales cycles, dealer operations, vehicle allocation, inventory management, and market dynamics.
- Proven experience in forecasting, target setting, performance reporting, and business planning.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into clear commercial recommendations.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver accurate outputs in a fast-paced environment.
- Advanced proficiency in business reporting tools.
- Experience with premium or luxury automotive brands.
- Experience managing sales planning for multiple models, variants, or markets.
- Exposure to vehicle importation, logistics planning, allocation processes, and customer order management.
- Experience working with dealer networks and conducting dealer performance reviews.
- Familiarity with regional automotive market dynamics, foreign exchange impacts, pricing changes, and customer expectations.
- Experience supporting new model launches and go-to-market planning.
