The opportunity
We are expanding our Finance Transformation (FT) team in the MENA region and are seeking a highly skilled Assistant Manager / Manager with deep expertise in development of Policies, Procedures and Enterprise Risk Management (ERM).
The ideal candidate should have strong experience in developing and standardizing organization wide policies and procedures, ensuring consistency, compliance, and effective governance and benchmarking. A solid understanding of internal controls, regulatory requirements, and best‑practice frameworks is essential. Experience in supporting ERM activities particularly in identifying key risks and related controls, evaluating their impact, and coordinating mitigation measures is highly desirable. This position is based in our Karachi/Lahore/Islamabad Center of Excellence and supports multiple client engagements across the MENA region.
Your key responsibilities
As Manager in the Finance Transformation team, your responsibilities will focus on key policies and procedures and other related areas including but not limited to:
- Lead the end‑to‑end development, review, and enhancement of operating policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and process guidelines, ensuring alignment with organizational strategy and leading industry best practices.
- Ability to assess existing processes to identify control gaps, inefficiencies, and compliance risks; develop recommendations to strengthen internal controls and improve process standardization across business functions.
- Partner with cross‑functional teams to design and document future‑state processes that enhance operational effectiveness, mitigate risk, and support regulatory compliance requirements.
- Facilitate change management activities, including communication planning, training sessions, and stakeholder onboarding, to ensure smooth adoption of new or updated policies.
- Ensure policies comply with regulatory requirements and internal control frameworks.
- Coordinate with departments to standardize processes and improve operational consistency.
- Experience in documenting process KPIs, cross functional SLAs, RACI Matrix etc. is preferred.
- Support internal and external audits through proper documentation and policies alignment.

To qualify for the role, you must have
- Professional qualifications are preferred e.g. CA, ACCA, CPA or a Master’s degree in or any other similar degree.
- 7–10 years of experience in Finance Transformation with Proven experience in designing, reviewing, and implementing financial policies, procedures, and internal control frameworks.
- Ability to translate complex processes into clear, user‑friendly policy documents and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Knowledge of key ERP processes functionalities within leading ERP systems like (SAP, Oracle, MS Dynamics 365 etc).
- Strong understanding of risk management principles and their application within financial processes and policy governance.
- Excellent documentation, analytical, communication, and client management skills.
- Flexibility to travel across the MENA region as required.
