We are seeking an experienced Retail Domain Expert/Consultant to drive business transformation, advisory engagements, and technology-enabled innovation across retail organizations. The candidate will act as a trusted advisor to business and technology stakeholders, helping shape retail strategies, operational excellence initiatives, digital transformation programs, and value realization outcomes.
The ideal candidate should possess deep expertise across Retail Merchandising, Supply Chain, Store Operations, Omni-channel Commerce, Inventory Management, Pricing & Promotions, Customer Experience, and Retail Technology platforms.
- Develop transformation roadmaps aligned to business goals and financial objectives.
- Partner with client executives to identify growth opportunities and operational efficiencies.
- Analyze and optimize end-to-end retail processes covering merchandise planning, forecasting and replenishment, pricing and promotions, inventory management, store operations, warehouse and distribution, order management, and digital commerce.
- Recommend process improvements to enhance customer experience and profitability.
- Bridge business requirements and technology solutions.
- Build relationships with Retail SVPs, Supply Chain Leaders, Merchandising Leaders, and Digital Commerce Executives.
- Present recommendations and business cases to leadership teams.
- Support RFPs, proposals, and client pursuits.
- Develop thought leadership and consulting accelerators.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Retail Management, Engineering, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to advise senior business and technology stakeholders.
- Ability to translate retail strategy and operational needs into practical transformation roadmaps.
- Experience across merchandising, supply chain, store operations, digital commerce, and retail technology.
- Ability to develop business cases, executive recommendations, proposals, and transformation narratives.
- Strong facilitation and presentation skills for executive workshops and client discussions.
Salary: 149600-202400 a year
