Starting Pay: $17.00/hour

About the Role

As a Packing & Shipping Technician, you'll help ensure prescription medications are prepared, packed, and shipped accurately and efficiently to patients across the country. Working in a closed-door pharmacy environment, you'll be part of a dedicated team committed to quality, safety, and exceptional service. This role is ideal for individuals who are reliable, detail-oriented, team-focused, and motivated to build a long-term healthcare career. Cross-training opportunities are available in additional pharmacy fulfillment functions, providing valuable experience and opportunities for advancement.

Key Responsibilities

• Pack and ship prescription orders according to established procedures
• Verify accuracy and quality of prescription packages
• Operate automated packing and shipping equipment
• Support prescription fulfillment and distribution processes
• Assist with loading and maintaining automated dispensing systems
• Perform packaging, validation, and delivery-related functions
• Follow all pharmacy, safety, and quality standards
• Collaborate with Pharmacy Supervisors, Lead Technicians, and team members to meet operational goals

Shift: Sunday: 2:00 PM to 12:30 AM and Monday through Wednesday: 3:00 PM to 1:30 AM

Shift Differential: +$1.00/hour for all hours worked.

Required Qualifications

• Must possess a current, unrestricted Pennsylvania State Board of Pharmacy Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacy Technician Trainee license on the first day of employment
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Ability to work required overtime as business needs demand

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse, fulfillment center, healthcare, medical, or production environments
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Flexibility to support overtime, early starts, late stays, and occasional weekend coverage when needed

Physical Requirements

This position requires the ability to:

• Stand and walk for extended periods
• Lift, carry, move, or position items weighing up to 40 pounds
• Bend, stoop, twist, reach, and perform repetitive movements
• Use hands and fingers for picking, pinching, typing, and handling items
• Read labels, computer screens, and small print accurately
• Maintain focus and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
• Communicate effectively and follow verbal instructions
• Work safely and efficiently while meeting productivity expectations

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$17.00 - $28.46

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
