Job Summary:

The Engineered Items and Major Assemblies Procurement Team has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Procurement Professional to lead in the sourcing and acquisition of materials and services, manage supplier performance, and manage the entire purchase order life cycle. 

This position is currently designated as fully remote. However, the successful candidate will be required to work from one of the 50 U.S. states (excluding U.S. Territories).

Responsibilities to Anticipate:

• Supplier Due Diligence, Purchase Order Management, Administration and Closeout
• Sole/Single Source Justifications (SSJ)
• Proprietary Information Agreements (PIA)
• Request for Proposals (RFP), Cost and Price Analysis (CAPA), Negotiate - Terms and Conditions, Price, and Schedule
• Cross-functional Collaboration (internal and external) and leading Supplier Management activities
• Execute Daily Tasks IAW Command Media
• This position is Fully Remote

Required Qualifications:

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s and a minimum of 8 years prior relevant experience, or an Advance Degree in a related field and a minimum of 5 years’ experience.
• Experience with Federal Acquisition Regulation/Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (FAR/DFARS)
• Experience with Purchase Order Management, Administration and Closeout, including negotiating Terms and Conditions, Price, Scheduling
• Experience with Request for Proposals (RFP)
• Experience performing Cost and Price Analysis
• U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee or asylee) or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations required. https://www.ecfr.gov/current/title-22/chapter-I/subchapter-M/part-120/subpart-C/section-120.62

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with SAP procurement software tools (Prism and APEX)
• Experience with International Contracting (FMS and DCS)
• Experience with ITAR/EAR regulations
• Experience with Proprietary Information Agreements (PIA)

Additional Information:

Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home).  An employee may be expected to travel to the site location as needed.

The salary range for this role is 94,000 USD - 196,000 USD; however, RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
