Job Summary:

In Systems Integration and Test (SI&T) we integrate, verify, and validate our products. We put our systems together, exercise them in the lab or in the field, measure and analyze performance, and make sure our products work the first time and every time. To accomplish this, we develop plans and procedures, debug and evaluate system functions and interfaces, develop test environments, and work hand-in-hand with our customers.

Our team is searching for a Senior Systems Test Engineer at our State College, Pennsylvania location to work in a collaborative, interactive development environment, supporting one of our programs.

Responsibilities to Anticipate:

  • Identify, write and execute end-to-end system tests in preparation for new baseline releases.
  • Ability to conduct hands-on regression testing of SW systems
  • Ability to conduct performance, new capability,  and DITL test execution. 
  • Collaborate across disciplines and all levels in order to effectively communicate status, results, issues, and recovery/resolution plans
  • Travel to user and customer locations. Travel not anticipated to exceed 15 %
  • Ability to obtain and maintain SCI or any additional program access as required

Basic Qualifications:

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM), and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience, unless prohibited by local laws/regulations
  • Engineering experience in a Multi-INT environment
  • Experience in system integration and test for a software system for the US DoD
  • Experience with Cloud Architectures
  • Candidate possesses a current Linux, CompTIA Security + Certification for privileged access
  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued TS security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Systems Engineering experience with requirements decomposition to S/W subsystems, S/W use case development and S/W feature development.
  • Expertise with troubleshooting complex S/W systems and develop issue closure plans with coordinated solutions across internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Experience with Atlassian tool suite
  • Experience with scripting languages
