Job Summary:

The Group Strategy and Development Intern supports P&W Group Strategy and Development transaction team, which leads P&W  Mergers, Acquisitions, Divestitures, JV’s and other similar transactions. The intern supports all the projects leads and analysts, from research on company financials and profiles, support of business cases and leadership presentations, as well as, when available, contribution to process  improvement projects. Activities are diverse and depend on the type of deals the team is working on at the time of the internship.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist M&A team's financial and accounting analysis of targeted companies.

  • Create/update company profiles including competitors, peers, and targets.

  • Support Ad-hoc requests from M&A team's.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Enrolled in a degree program in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related majors and graduating between Fall 2024 – or later.

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen. This position may require access to systems/tools that are restricted to individuals who possess US citizenship.

  • Fluent in English (verbal/written).

  • You will have at least 30 credits prior to starting your internship and have a GPA of 3.2 or higher

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Past experience or demonstrated interest in Mergers and Acquisitions, or more broadly transactions.

  • Past experience, or demonstrated interest in Discounted Cash Flow, valuation models.

  • Demonstrated interest in diverse work scope. Not looking for a repetitive, well defined task list.

  • Ability to multitask and adapt to changing requirements.

  • Attention to details.

  • Working knowledge of Power Point for clean presentation.

Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home).
