Key Responsibilities:

• Oversees production operations (shop floor management, workforce management, and flow disruption management); Manages and supervises the work of manufacturing production disciplines in the Operations function.
• Oversees and ensures all quality related items for a complex or medium sized sites are complete and documented to meet established quality standards.
• Oversees cost reduction and process improvement for a complex or medium sized site to ensure efficiency of operations and cost effectiveness.
• Cross functional coordination including home sites and external stakeholders
• Assign performance targets to work cell / section of the process / sub-function
• Achieve production and Quality targets at process / value stream / department level
• Continuous improvement by eliminating variations within the process/ value stream
• Leads Tier -3 management meeting and Gemba walks
• Prepare/submit delivery, quality and performance reports
• Provide coaching / mentoring to people leaders
• Adheres to participate in all EHS practices and standards across the site, including, but not limited to, proactive reporting of observed hazards and recommendations to ensure the safety and well-being of self and others

• Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university
• 7+ years of relevant experience (Aerospace, Automotive, Industrial Machinery, or Electronics)
• Trained and experienced in implementation of Lean/Six sigma initiatives.
• Conversant with statistical, continuous improvement, and problem-solving tools and techniques
• Familiarity with Quality Management Systems (AS 9100)
• Strong operational KPIs and basic financial KPIs
• Ability to lead and manage people
• Ability to apply tools for practical problem solving and continuous improvement initiatives
• Apply logical and scientific thinking principles to solve wide range of  intellectual, organizational, and practical problems

Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home).  An employee may be expected to travel to the site location as needed.
