Job Summary:

Pratt & Whitney Compression Systems Engineering (CSE) group seeks a goal-oriented, detail-focused project engineer to work in the GTF HPC Component Integrated Product Team (CIPT) as an Integrated Product Team (IPT) Project Engineer. The selected candidate will support the IPT Leader responsible for task execution. This position requires proven leadership, excellent communication skills, and well-rounded general project engineering skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and lead IPT / supplier activities to meet technical milestones and hardware delivery requirements
  • Plan & manage task budget and schedule in accordance with program negotiated deliverables
  • Prepare and present task status and technical content to the IPT Lead and CIPT
  • Prepare and present monthly EV status of all tasks that require EVMS
  • Perform risk assessments and develop / manage risk mitigation plans as well as lead and execute Fleet Sustainment initiatives 
  • Review and process Class 1 & 2 engineering changes as well as lead field investigation teams to determine root cause and corrective action for any field incidents reported by USAF customer

Basic Qualifications:

  • Master's degree, or Bachelor's degree with 2+ years' experience, in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, or a related field
  • U.S. Person or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations required
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong leadership, communication and organizational skills.
  • Project engineering team leadership experience or equivalent
  • Demonstrated ability to organize and execute several components of complex tasks.
  • Proficiency with Teamcenter a plus
