This position is for a Quality Engineer.  This is an onsite role and will sit in Cedar Rapids , IA.

This position is eligible for relocation.

Primary Responsibilities: 

• Improve supplier quality performance by analyzing performance data, identifying opportunities for improvement and coordinating actions on supplier development

• Respond to supplied material defect occurrences and verification of supplied material defect claims with goal of proactive reduction and prevention

• Preventing/Minimizing business impact from supplied material defects; supplier quality risk mitigation

• Submitting and reviewing supplier corrective action requests

• Engage suppliers for quality improvements including on-site supplier engagements and process walks.

• Develop audit certification skills to perform Quality System audits.

• Develop independent judgment methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree and less than 12 months of experience

• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access the information under this program/contract
