Raytheon has an exciting opportunity for an Executive Administrative Assistant, providing administrative support to the Mechanical Engineering Tactical Radars team.

This position requires outstanding decision making and problem-solving skills with minimal direction. Individual must be able to work under pressure to meet project deadlines and schedules. The ideal candidate demonstrates a high level of confidence and judgement in a highly visible administrative position.

  • The position is for Fullerton, CA (on-site role)

Responsibilities to Anticipate:

  • Organizing and prioritizing leadership calendars to minimize schedule conflicts.

  • Provide administrative support in a team environment, partnering with other administrative assistants for planning and coordination.

  • Planning and coordinating domestic/international travel

  • Preparing and reconcile expense reports.

  • Drafting departmental and directorate correspondence

  • Reserving and approving conference rooms

  • Arranging business lunches

  • Preparing security clearances and visitor requests

  • Working with the admin team to support directorate initiatives.

  • Collaboration with Operations team and Talent Acquisition (TA) for onboarding of new hires to directorate

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Typically requires an Associate’s degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 6 years of relevant Executive Administrative Assistant experience OR 8 years of relevant Executive Administrative Assistant with a HS Diploma.

  • Experience with Microsoft Outlook and Office365, including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.

  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Qualifications We Value:

  • Previous defense industry and/or company experience

  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)

  • Experience with web-based tools such as SAP/APEX, and SharePoint

  • Highly proficient in organizing data and documents with the ability to maintain confidentiality of personnel information.

  • Experience in a fast-paced work environment that requires you to respond quickly and effectively to non-routine requests and situations.

  • Self-starter with initiative and independent judgement for assisting management and employees.

  • Ability to identify problems, anticipate challenges, and mitigate corrective actions.

  • Willingness to learn new skills.

  • Handles confidential information with proper discretion.

  • Working knowledge of the Concur online expense reporting systems and company travel and expense policies.

  • Familiarity with ITAR restrictions as related to Defense Contractors

Clearance Information: This position requires the eligibility to obtain a security clearance. The salary range for this role is 45,000 USD - 103,000 USD; however, RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills. Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
