Job Summary:

This position is within the Mission Engineering team, more specifically within the Re-Evaluation Engineering (RE-EVAL) team with potential cross-training opportunities on the Calibration (CAL) and the Mission System Engineering (MSE) teams. The Re-Evaluation team manages the analysis and collection of signals, metric collection and trending, integration of baseline changes, provides sophisticated analyses to a variety of customers, participation in customer meetings both weekly and accomplishment based, investigates, and integrates performance optimization, executes mitigation strategies, and provides problem analysis support.

• This position is an onsite role – Aurora, Colorado

Responsibilities to Anticipate:

• You will complete an extensive training/certification program. When complete they will act as program authority and spokesperson for all related system issues.
• The employee will also act as the program technical liaison with subsystem principal engineers, the program office, external customers, and senior program management for all subsystem related activities.
• While the primary shift for this position is the day shift there are occasions that require after hours support.
• Daily meetings.
• Day-to-day interactions/communications with team, other program teams, management, and customers. 
• Solving any problems/issues that might arise.

Basic Qualifications:  

Typically requires a Bachelor’s in science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM preferred) and a minimum of 5 years of prior engineering experience or equivalent experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.

• Ability to determine and extract relevant data from complex data sets.
• Excellent project stakeholder’s skills
• Leadership and team-strengthening skills
• Excellent presentation skills
• An active and in-scope TS/SCI with CI Poly U.S. security clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

• Understanding of structured programming and ability to create resources utilizing this knowledge.
• Knowledge of project management.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range for this role is 75,000 USD - 161,000 USD; however, RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
