We are looking for a new intern to join our team! The Engineering Intern will be responsible for performing work to support the advancement in technology and competitive advantages for areas including polyurethane, composite, rubber, and metallic materials.

This is an onsite position based out of our Jacksonville, FL site location; may be eligible for relocation.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Prepare test plans and conduct experiments utilizing necessary analytical /lab equipment to acquire results.

• Analyze test data and prepare reports to document finding and recommendations.

• Participates in defining engineering approaches.

• Write Procedures

• Interface with shop floor personnel.

• Work with all levels within the organization and independently as well as in collaboration with a team.

Basic Qualifications:

• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor's or advanced degree- Chemical, Material, or Mechanical engineering preferred.

• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access the information under this program/contract

• Must have or be capable of obtaining a US Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance.  Candidate selected will be subject to a government security investigation/reinstatement and must meet eligibility requirements 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in design & production environment is preferred.

• Knowledge of Microsoft products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)  MS Project a plus.

• Good analytical skills including the ability to comprehend and apply principles of advanced calculus, modern algebra, and advanced statistical theory

• Working level knowledge of CAD software is desired (e.g. Solid Works, or Catia)

• Working level knowledge of MRP systems is desired (SAP a plus)
