Collins Avionics has an internal customer facing Senior Analyst, Pricing Specialist position within the Service Parts Pricing Team.  The Service Parts Pricing Team is responsible for developing sell prices for piece parts and sub-assemblies required for maintenance of Collins Aerospace equipment.  The team also develops prices for Service Bulletins, Technical Service Procedures, CRG's, Rental-Exchange, and CASP.   This position will utilize knowledge of various pricing methodologies and cost estimating techniques in an effort to develop sell prices.  The candidate must display critical thinking, have the ability to effectively communicate with non-financial professionals, and be detail oriented.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develops Service Parts prices used to provide quotations to external customers and Collins Aerospace Service Centers.
  • Assist with development of annual Service Parts and Rental-Exchange Catalogs.
  • Works with LCVSM and Proposal Managers to coordinate pricing for proposal activity.
  • Performs a detailed analysis of the cost estimates and all assumptions utilized in developing pricing. Identifies any associated risks.
  • May prepare financial summaries that help the business team understand the merits of the new business deal.
  • Participate in or lead various Pricing Team project activities.
  • Expected to utilize Continuous Improvement tools to improve efficiencies of daily activities.  Participates in Continuous Improvement Event activities.
  • Identifies opportunities to improve tools utilized by the team or department.
  • Successfully utilizes pricing strategies.

Basic Qualifications:

  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access the financial management system due to government contractual requirements
  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field or in absence of a degree, 6 years of relevant experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong analytical skills
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft O365 and Excel, Outlook, and SAP
  • Ability to multi-task with strong organizational and prioritization skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel techniques (i.e. VLOOKUP's, pivot tables, formulas, etc.).
  • Ability to manipulate and analyze large amounts of data.
  • Knowledge of executing transactions and displaying reports in SAP.
  • Enjoys working in a team environment to support team goals.
