L3 Application Support Engineer

Technology Stack: Java, Spring Boot, Angular

Experience: 6–10 years (relevant application support & development experience)

Shift: Yes – may require rotational shifts

Job Summary

The L3 Application Support Engineer will provide advanced production support for business critical applications built using Java, Spring Boot, and Angular. This role focuses on deep technical troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and permanent fix implementation, working closely with development, infrastructure, and DevOps teams to ensure high availability and performance of applications.

Key Responsibilities

Debugging & Troubleshooting: Identifying, analyzing, and fixing complex bugs within the Angular framework.

Maintenance & Enhancement: Updating existing Angular (v2+) applications to improve performance and functionality.

API Integration: Connecting frontend components with RESTful services and backend systems.

Leverage Dynatrace and observability tools to monitor application health, analyze performance, and proactively identify issues.

Performance Optimization: Ensuring high-performance rendering on both desktop and mobile through efficient coding and lazy loading.

Testing & QA: Writing unit tests using frameworks like Jasmine or Karma to ensure code quality.

Collaboration: Working with UX/UI designers to translate designs into functional HTML/CSS/TypeScript code.

Work with L2 support teams to guide issue triage and resolution.

Ensure adherence to SLAs, incident management, and change management processes.

Participate in on-call / rotational shifts as part of 24x7 support coverage.

Maintain and improve support documentation, runbooks, and SOPs.

Proactively identify stability, performance, and security improvements.

Salary Range- $100,000-$120,000 a year
