We have an exciting opportunity for an Analyst, Contracts who will primarily support the AEGIS Sustainment and Performance Based Logistic contract activities and will report to the Naval Sustainment Contracts Manager, Naval Power Program Area.

Responsibilities to Anticipate:

  • Provide support for Request for Proposal (RFP) assessments, proposal generation, contract negotiation, contract management, and ensuring that business deals comply with company policies

  • Support program gate reviews, program management reviews, business strategy sessions, proposal reviews, risk management activities, and all other contracts related matters affecting various sustainment product areas

  • Maintain positive relationships with the customers’ Contract Officers, Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) and Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA)

  • Provide input to develop innovative contracting solutions which will result in achieving program and business objectives

  • Identify contractual rights and obligations and escalate for immediate resolution mitigating contractual and program risks

  • Compile and analyze data

  • Maintain historical records

  • Occasional travel to other Raytheon sites

Basic Qualifications:

  • Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and less than 2 years prior relevant experience

  • U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee or asylee) or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations required https://www.ecfr.gov/current/title-22/chapter-I/subchapter-M/part-120/subpart-C/section-120.62

  • Experience in contracts administration, proposal preparation or other contracts related support OR office administration activity

  • Experience in document preparation

  • Experience using Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS)

  • Active and transferable secret clearance

  • Experience with proposals and contract administration of both production and development contracts

  • Working knowledge in the use and application of APEX, ICMS and SAP

  • Good analytical skills, excellent interpersonal skills, and excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment, where prioritization is required to be effective

  • Team Player with strong interpersonal skills working effectively within team environment and customers to drive results

Work Locations:

Remote - This position is currently designated as fully remote. However, the successful candidate will be required to work from one of the 50 U.S. states (excluding U.S. Territories)

The salary range for this role is 52,000 USD - 98,000 USD; however, RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
