We have an exciting remote opportunity for a SharePoint Manager!

Our Digital Technology Workplace Services team is responsible for the strategic direction, implementation execution and service delivery of Pratt & Whitney end user computing technologies including O365 Cloud services, collaboration, productivity tools, end user experience satisfaction, mobile services, Windows PC/laptop/tablet/smartphone hardware & software, virtual desktop infrastructure, and communication.

This position will be responsible for administering and supporting the Pratt & Whitney SharePoint environment.  This role is also responsible for participating in the introduction of new and innovative technologies to help Pratt & Whitney increase productivity and adoption of SharePoint online and Power Platform.  The successful candidate will have strong communication skills (both verbal and written), be self-motivated, persistent and focusing on results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, configure, and implement SharePoint solutions, both in the online and on-prem environments
  • Create and maintain SharePoint environments and systems
  • Administer SharePoint Online and SharePoint on-prem
  • Administer security and governance requirements of SharePoint sites, libraries, etc.
  • Lead SharePoint projects and migrations
  • SharePoint customization, workflows, apps for SharePoint, workspaces, site provisioning, troubleshooting, planning and migration
  • Microsoft Power Platform Administration; workflows, connectors, Power Automate, Power Apps and Power BI
  • Provide guidance to SharePoint site administrators
  • Interact with business areas to gather requirements and propose solutions
  • Maintain SharePoint sites functionality
  • Identify opportunities and requirements to improve business collaboration and processes

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Information Technology, Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics or Science and 8+ years of experience with SharePoint support, design, and development; OR an Advanced degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Information Technology, Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics or Science and 5+ years of experience with SharePoint support, design, and development
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen - this position may require access to systems/tools that are restricted to individuals who possess US citizenship

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proven experience with developing SharePoint Governance Model and processes
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, solve and remediate problems in a complex infrastructure environment
  • Familiarity with InfoPath, Nintex, Nextlabs, Webcon, Java, and .NET
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft O365 environment, including Teams
  • Experience with Power Platform; workflows, connectors, Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI
  • Demonstrated ability to work multiple projects and solve complex issues related to SharePoint
  • Experience migrating SharePoint on-prem sites to SharePoint Online

The salary range for this role is 94,000 USD - 196,000 USD; however, RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills. Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
