Job Description

Overview:

In this role, the Lead Engineer (Software, Advanced Structures) actively participate in NPI, design/redesign and develop and validate software for various Advanced Structures product line.

Position: Lead Engineer (P2)

Primary Responsibilities:

• Strong Experience in software design & development and Verification methodologies for real-time embedded Application
• Well versed with requirement management. UML/SysML will be an added advantage.
• Experience in software design and development medium to large projects.
• Provide solution to complex scope, through expert usage of non-standard concepts & principles requiring high levels of judgment & interpretation.
• Experience in development of boot, device drivers, microcontroller or DSP
• ARM based microcontroller/DSP preferred.
• Experience in using RTOS or custom OS/scheduler.
• Strong C, C++ and Ada programming skills and well versed with MISRA or equivalent guidelines.
• Strong Troubleshooting skills
• Application software development and design software controllers for close loop systems
• Experience in Matlab\Simulink is an added advantage.
• Good experience in code generation (Target Link, Embedded Coder, ADI Beacon)
• Hands on experience with standard communication protocols like CAN, SPI, Ethernet
• Knowledge of the certification environment such as DO-330, DO-331, DO 178-B, FAA, EASA and understanding of the impact of the certification environment on development methods and software testing.
• Working with multi-disciplinary teams such as project engineering, software engineering, electrical design, safety, and reliability.
• Broad exposure to a wide variety of application tools and understand the purpose to the software life cycle phases.

Basic Qualifications:

• BE/Masters in CS/E&C/Electrical with 4 plus Years of experience
• Solid communication, writing skills and teaming skills are a must.
