Job Summary:

The Sales & Operations Planning function within Raytheon Technologies is responsible for driving schedule alignment with finance, factory operations, program operations, engineering, and supply chain stakeholders which results in an integrated plan, providing the basis for long-range plans for sales and operations planning (S&OP).  S&OP gives program managers and factory value stream leaders the ability to come together and make strategic decisions about how to collectively run their businesses to optimize customer satisfaction, financial performance, and risk mitigation on LRP.  This provides visibility through a long-range planning horizon to ensure plans are sufficient to plan the labor, equipment, facilities, material, and finances required to achieve business goals. 

Responsibilities to Anticipate: 

Facilitate regularly scheduled Sales & Operations Planning inputs, analysis, and meetings which includes demand planning, supply planning, consensus between functions and stakeholders.

Lead collaborative, action-based constraint mitigation/management with cross functional teams with risk and opportunity

Enable data-driven discovery to collaborate with key stakeholders for business decision making

Develop and execute project & change management plans

Create and deliver management presentations

Collaborate internally and cross functionally to simplify and drive overall efficient and effective process execution

Data mine, extract, compile, interpret, visualize, and communicate solution-based recommendations on large & complex data sets leveraging multiple business systems / tools, metrics & reports

Facilitate collaboration between systems, tools and information and cross-functional teams to identify and implement business process improvement opportunities to identify and interpret data, and troubleshoot issues resulting in improved business performance

Manage the formulation of advanced analytical / statistical data models, key metrics, and forecasts to communicate and manage the effectiveness of S&OP inputs and outputs

Keep abreast of the latest developments in the field by continuous learning and proactively promoting emerging methodologies.

Basic Qualifications:

Typically requires a Bachelor’s and a minimum of 8 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum of 5 years’ experience.

Experience in Manufacturing, Operations, Planning, Production Control, Supply Chain, Inventory, Engineering, or Finance

Experience using MRP/ERP systems (SAP preferred)

Experience leading project/programs

Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. 

U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

Self-motivated and proactive problem solver with demonstrated creative and critical thinking capabilities.               

Proven ability to understand complex systems and processes.     

Ability to mediate discussions between stakeholders with varying incentives.

Outstanding cross-functional leadership skills

Experience with data visualization tools such a Tableau, Power BI

Experience with advanced Excel, advanced power query

Presentation skills

The salary range for this role is 94,000 USD - 196,000 USD; however, RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.
