Job Summary:

We are currently hiring a Systems Design Engineer in Systems Engineering to join the Effectors Systems Design & Architecture (SDA) organization located in Tucson, AZ. This position is to support Effectors programs as a System Cameo Modeler.

SDA is an exciting and challenging environment where you will have the opportunity to design, develop and partner with multi-disciplines to shape innovative solutions for our customers. As a System Cameo Modeler, you will be expected to implement designs and architecture in the program’s Cameo development environment. You will collaborate with other Engineering disciplines including subsystem designers to integrate models and verify their implementation into the overall system model and architecture. You will also be responsible for understanding the program’s modeling approach and follow established standards and procedures for implementing the designs and architecture. You will have the opportunity to gain Effectors subsystem technical knowledge and associated development processes.

Responsibilities to Anticipate:

• You will apply your knowledge of Model Based System Engineering tools to implement Effectors subsystem designs and architecture

• You will be responsible for following Program established standards and procedures for modeling and implementation

• You will collaborate with other Engineering disciplines to integrate models into the overall system model and verify the correct implementation

• You will interact with Technical SMEs to gain a basic understanding of Effectors subsystems

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience

• Experience implementing architecture and designs with Model Based Systems Engineering tools.

• Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.

• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications We Value:

• Active Top Secret Clearance (Department of Defense)

• Experience in missile systems design, integration, test, or flight demonstration

• Knowledge of missile subsystems

• Experience with SysML, DoDAF, WOSA, MOSA, or GRA

• Experience using Cameo Systems Modeler

• Experience performing design or development with cross-disciplined Engineering teams

• Experience using Agile framework development methods and processes

• Interpersonal and communication skills

• Master's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)
