Job Summary:

The Energetics team has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Procurement Professional to lead in the sourcing and acquisition of development/emerging program’s materials and services, manage supplier performance and manage the entire subcontract purchase order life cycle for DoD, FMS, and DCS customers.

This position is currently designated as fully remote. However, the successful candidate will be required to work from one of the 50 U.S. states (excluding U.S. Territories).

Responsibilities to Anticipate:

• Manage Supplier Relationship, Development, and Performance
• Drive the success of meeting emerging program’s schedules, financial requirements, metrics, Late to Place, Late to Dock, Delinquent Material, etc.
• Develop plans to promote cost reduction initiatives and performance improvements (technical as well as quality) to drive flawless supplier execution for Raytheon programs and projects 
• Perform subcontract management of high dollar purchase orders utilizing integrated supply chain models in compliance with all regulatory and corporate requirements.
• Primary capabilities in subcontract management such as the following will be needed:
  • Preparation of all manner of solicitations including RFQs, RFPs, RFI, and IDIQ
  • Analyze quotations/proposals utilizing price/cost analysis techniques
  • Develop negotiation strategies and lead formal negotiations (Price, Delivery, Terms)
  • Place Purchase Orders of high dollar levels and procurement complexity
  • Perform risk analysis, and develop mitigation plans and solutions to problems
• This position is Fully Remote

Basic Qualifications:

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s and a minimum of 8 years prior relevant experience, or an Advance Degree in a related field and a minimum of 5 years’ experience
• Experience with development programs, technical requirements of procured hardware and services including Statement of Work (SOW) review
• Experience with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR/DFARS) or within other heavily regulated industries such as space, aviation, power generation
• Experience placing Purchase Orders
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with firm fixed and cost type contracting
• Experience with ITAR regulations
• Experience with negotiating terms and conditions
• Experience with Cost or Pricing Data and determine proposal compliance

Additional Information:

Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home).  An employee may be expected to travel to the site location as needed.

The salary range for this role is 94,000 USD - 196,000 USD; however, RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
