Job Summary:

Our diverse, energetic, and collaborative Global Supply Chain Management team offers an excellent opportunity to join our dynamic growth-oriented environment in support of the Rapid Procurement department, which manages the engineering and development procurements for multiple mission areas. You will foster relationships with suppliers and subcontracts in a fashion consistent with integrated supply chain models, recognizing the role and value of each participant through the acquisition life cycle from requirements generation through product delivery, product support, and payment for products and services.  You will engage in supplier performance, relationship management, strategic sourcing as well as facilitate complex business agreements in support of the various contracts.

This position is currently designated as fully remote. However, the successful candidate will be required to work from one of the 50 U.S. states (excluding U.S. Territories).

Responsibilities to Anticipate:

• Preparation and issuance of RFP’s. Perform cost analysis techniques in support of proposals
• Develop negotiation strategies and lead formal negotiations (Price, Delivery, Terms & Conditions)
• Place subcontracts/purchase orders of medium/high complexity in accordance with all regulatory (FAR/DFAR) and corporate compliance requirements for various complex subcontract (Cost Type, Incentive Type, Firm Fixed, etc.).
• Nurture professional business relationships with first tier subcontractors
• Work closely with the Program and other functional groups (Operations, Quality, Engineering, etc.) to achieve objectives
• Develop plans to promote cost reduction initiatives and performance improvements (technical and quality) in support of flawless supplier execution for program

• The position is Fully Remote

Basic Qualifications:

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s and a minimum of 2 years prior relevant experience, or an Advance Degree in a related field.
• Experience with Government acquisition procedures and requirements

• Experience issuing RFPs, analyzing proposals, and compiling procurement packages
• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s Degree in Supply Chain, Business Finance or STEM field
• Experience in compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR/DFARS) and familiarity with the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR)
• Experience in written contractual authorization/vehicles (Cost Plus, Firm Fixed Price etc.)
• Previous experience analyzing Cost and Pricing Data and determine proposal compliance (FAR 15.4)
• Previous experience executing a competitive procurement including development of evaluation criteria

Additional Information:

Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home).  An employee may be expected to travel to the site location as needed.

The salary range for this role is 62,000 USD - 124,000 USD; however, RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
