OnsiteCollins Aerospace is seeking a Process Technician I to join our Santa Fe Springs, California Brakes Team. We are a dynamic Carbon Brake operation for aircraft parts and components. We create Carbon/Carbon brake disc for the commercial, regional, business, and military aircraft. In this role you will be responsible for application of proprietary oxidation inhibitor systems and final assembly of the Carbon/Carbon Brake Disc.

Position works onsite 4 days per week at our Santa Fe Springs, CA Facility.
Starting Pay: $20.00/Hour with a Shift Differential of $1.00/hour day and $1.25 nights
Shift Schedule: 4:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Shift Rotation: Sunday to Wednesday
Primary Responsibilities:
Understand and comply with all Environmental Health and Safety rules (EH&S)
Follow all policies and procedures of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Work Instructions (WI), and drawings
Communicate potential mechanical or safety issues
Strictly follows written procedures to maintain safety and to ensure quality
Apply an oxidation inhibitor to carbon brakes
Perform final assembly of metal hardware onto carbon brakes
Load/unload and operate small furnaces
Use handheld scanners to track all parts
Precisely measure using standard measuring instruments and scales
Document the process used to create / finish parts
Use your basic to intermediate computer skills
Set up and operation of robotic and automated equipment
Perform other duties as assigned
Basic Qualification:
HS Diploma. In the absence of a HS diploma or GED, 2 years of relevant experience is required
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. RTX will not offer sponsorship for this position

The salary range for this role is $41,600.00 to $54,080. 00; however, Raytheon Technologies considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, education/training, and key skills.
