Position Role Type:

Assists with implementation of warehouse safety and security programs and activities. Responds to moderately complex customer or shipper questions and complaints regarding storage and distribution services. Assists in orienting, training, and assigning work of business support employees.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Works under moderate supervision to provide assistance with managing inventory and movement of materials.
• Prepares and examines necessary shipping documentation.
• Monitors arriving materials to ensure that they match purchase orders, submitting discrepancy reports as necessary.
• Monitors movement of materials, products or machinery in manufacturing area.
• Assists with implementation of warehouse safety and security programs and activities.
• Reads production and delivery schedules, and confers with supervisors, to coordinate sorting and transfer procedures,
• arrangement of packages on pallets and destinations of loaded pallets.
• Responds to moderately complex customer or shipper questions and complaints regarding storage and distribution services.
• Assists with analysis of material usage, including scrap rate and repair history, minimum stock and pool quantity calculation accordingly to fulfill production requirements.
• Provides logistics documentation to establish the range and depth of spares, tools, test equipment and related manuals to be
• deployed and stocked.
• Reviews configuration changes to evaluate impact on logistics deployment.
• Plans, schedules and manages the efficient movement of material from receiving, or the warehouse, to production.
• Manages material inventory, supplier
• integration strategies (VMI/3PL/supermarkets) and import/export controls.
• Partners with Industrial Engineering on packaging strategies.

Basic Qualifications:

• Typically requires an AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. Collins Aerospace will not offer sponsorship for this position.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.
