What You Will Do

As a Material and Process Engineer I at Raytheon Technologies, you will work closely with Senior Engineers to support material analytical testing, packaging and handling identification, material documentation update and maintenance.  In addition, you will be working cross-functionally with Material and Process Program leads, Program Engineers, and Production representatives to support varieties of material related inquiries. Perform empirical material testing that mimic program use-case condition, initiate data-driven material and design ameliorations. Resolves day-to-day technical problems on the production lines to minimize disruption. Conduct a wide array of materials verification for compliance with drawings, specifications, and program applications.
Completes drawing designs as required to facilitate the engineering process.

Qualifications You Must Have

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Material Science, Mechanical Engineering or related (STEM) major obtained by start date.
• Experience with Material analytical instrument.
• Experience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, research, coursework, or projects

Qualifications We Prefer

• Experience with data analysis and technical reporting.
  Experience with CAD and/or engineering drawings.
• Experience in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and/or PowerPoint).

The salary range for this role is 57,200 USD - 108,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
