Cyber Researcher 

The Raytheon UK Cyber Research Group (CRG) are looking for skilled researchers to join the CRG. Potential candidates should be keen innovators with technical experience across a variety of disciplines within the cyber domain. 

In joining the rapidly growing CRG, successful candidates will conduct research that solves exciting technical and niche problems that relate to cyber across both information and operational technology. 

Strong candidates will also have a variety of automation, scripting and system internals knowledge and prior experience in technical writing and documentation. We are particularly interested in candidates who have a track record of innovation. 

 

Required: 

  • Demonstrable evidence of adaptability across multiple technical disciplines. 

  • Ability to quickly understand new technologies or domains. 

  • Familiar with using and setting up both Linux and Windows OS. 

  • Experience with scripting languages (e.g. Python, Bash). 

Candidates will have understanding or interest in several of the following areas: 

  • Software prototyping 

  • Cyber security 

  • Digital forensics 

  • Penetration testing 

  • Malware analysis 

  • Intrusion analysis 

  • Operational cyber 

  • Network protocol analysis 

  • Software & hardware teardowns 

  • Operating system internals 

  • OSINT 

  • Building representative networks and environments
