Job Summary:

The Advanced Technology SBU/Advanced Effectors & Space SBUU/ Alternate Missions Directorate is continuing to grow! In 2024, the next phase of an on-going program will expand from a small to major effort requiring contractual Earned Value including IPMR and IMPDAR generated in a classified environment utilizing forProject EVMS. This position is an onsite role supporting a program based out of our Tucson, Arizona location. You will be working side by side with the Program Management team including the programs Integrated Product Teams and Control Account Managers. Coming into this role you will leverage your EV, CAM/Engineering Business Analyst experiences to help the program area leads identify areas to meet or accelerate budget while managing program budgets. You will be required to have an active/current Secret clearance (or higher), with the ability to obtain a Top-Secret security clearance. Being curious, asking questions & driving execution will highlight great value to the team. Our program has a need date of June 2024; we are flexible with start date and will allow the selected candidate to pick whatever start date works best for them between now and June.

The program finance group you join will be a team 5 delivering monthly CDRLs, running quarterly EACs, and working alongside planners, SCM, and the technical leads. You’ll also be joining existing analysts with existing support of the program and get exposed to other team members supporting additional programs.

This is a one-of-a-kind program opportunity and Key Strategic Pursuit to build upon the significant growth within this directorate and has visibility all the way up to the RTX President.

Responsibilities to Anticipate:

  • Prepare and analyze weekly cost and labor runs; review with IPT/CAMs to drive predictable cost and schedule.

  • Track IMS schedule tasking to actuals.

  • Work with CAM to claim accurate performance and integrate monthly Earned Value Management (EVM) inputs utilizing PMX Tools and perform meaningful analysis.

  • Generate and submit SWA’s to CAMs and IPTs.

  • Perform detailed EV and financial analysis to EV WBS Dashboard to identify key SV/CV and CPI/SPI variances. Document variances into program IPMR.

  • Be directly involved in monthly Budget Change Requests (BCR) support by working with CAMs to submit, approve, and integrate BCR’s into forProject baseline.

  • Integrate major subcontractors IPMR’s into the overall program CDRL’s.

  • Support the creation of Estimates at Complete (EACs) on a quarterly basis and Latest Revised Estimates (LRE) on a monthly basis including estimate of costs, test of reasonableness analysis, and risk and opportunities assessment at the Program / Product / Mission area level.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s and a minimum of 5 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree and a minimum of 3 years’ experience. Preferred degrees in Accounting, Business, Economics, Finance or related field.

  • Earned Value experience and/or CAM support on a contractually required EV program.

  • Experience with finance reporting tools and proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

  • Security Clearance - Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance. The selected candidate will also need the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued Top-Secret security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Active/current Top-Secret clearance.

  • Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) experience.

  • PMXTools experience.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

  • Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with all levels of management both verbally and in written form.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with limited oversight and prioritize workload.

  • Provide continuous improvement and process relating to speed, accuracy, and overall delivery.

  • Driving program execution and success.
