Payments Business Analyst

We are seeking a Payments Business Analyst with deep domain expertise across payments processing, clearing & settlement, and digital payments ecosystems. The candidate will act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technology teams, driving requirements, solution design, and delivery across payment platforms.

Must Have Technical/Functional Skills

 1. Business & Functional Analysis

•Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for payments initiatives

•Translate business needs into clear functional specifications and user stories

•Conduct gap analysis between existing and proposed payment systems

•Create BRDs, FRDs, use cases, process flows, and functional specs

2. Payments Domain Expertise

•Work across key payments areas: 

oWire Payments (SWIFT, Fedwire, CHAPS)

oACH / SEPA

oReal-Time Payments (RTP) / Faster Payments

oCards & Merchant Payments

•Understand end-to-end payment lifecycle: 

oInitiation → Validation → Clearing → Settlement → Reconciliation

Domain Skills

•Strong experience in Payments (mandatory)

•Knowledge of: 

oISO 20022

oSWIFT messaging (MT/MX)

oPayment hubs / core banking systems

Salary Range- $90,000-$130,000 a year
