Amazon's Delivery Service Partner (DSP) program is the backbone of last-mile delivery - thousands of independent small businesses that hire drivers, operate Amazon-branded vans and deliver millions of packages every day across North America, Europe and the rest of the world. Within WW DSP's multi-billion-dollar cost base, the largest and most control-sensitive flow is what Amazon pays its DSPs - fixed, variable, incentive and exception payments, all governed by rate cards set by the DSP Pricing team.

The Senior Financial Analyst will serve as the dedicated Finance partner to the WW DSP Payments and Pricing teams within the WW DSP Finance Central Team, reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, and will own two interconnected mandates. On payments, the role owns end-to-end DSP payment controllership across North America (Monthly fixed payments, plus weekly variable, FMP, Walker, incentive, dispute and exception payments) together with the GRC controls and Internal Audit action items that sit on top of them - evolving DSP Finance from transactional approver to SME mechanism owner under the risk-tiered DSP Payments Controls Framework, and scaling that model to WW parity across EU and ROW. On pricing, the role establishes Finance as the governance and analytical partner to the Pricing team - building the rate card audit framework, embedding Finance checkpoints before rate changes are implemented, shaping PRICE tool controllership design, and bridging Pricing and Payments so disconnects are caught before they become payment defects.

Both mandates run on an AI-first operating model: extending AI-driven validation agents from weekly variable payments to every recurring control and into EU and ROW, so Finance time shifts from manual approval to exception management, root-cause resolution and strategic partnership. This is a high-impact, cross-functional role for a Finance professional who combines strong controllership instincts and sound judgement on high-dollar decisions with the ability to influence Payments Product, Payment Ops, Pricing, Trans CS and Internal Audit stakeholders - and who operates with equal confidence at the transaction level and in front of senior leadership.


Key job responsibilities
- Own end-to-end payments controllership for WW DSP - approving weekly variable (NA and EU), FMP, Walker, incentive, dispute and exception payments under the risk-tiered DSP Payments Controls Framework, operating as total process owner and governance auditor, and running the 15-20% governance audit of Payment Ops checks and quarterly Finance attestation.
- Own the payments controls, audit and governance agenda - GRC Rate Validation as quarterly control owner, Fixed and Variable Payments Internal Audit action items, payment policy formalization (FMP, Variable, Bulk Upload), and authoring the WW RMP Approval Threshold Framework with per-country thresholds and tech build partnership.
- Serve as the dedicated Finance partner to the Pricing workstream - building the NA rate card audit framework and extending it WW, establishing Finance review checkpoints in the pricing change process, engaging with the PRICE tool on controllership design, building rate card effectiveness reporting and planning-cycle scenario modelling, and managing the FMP payment cycle end-to-end from VPA run through rate card approval to execution.
- Drive WW parity in payments and pricing controllership - consolidating all payment lines across NA and EU under DSP Finance, approving EU weekly variable payments across nine countries, closing EU bulk-payment controllership gaps with maker-checker controls and SOPs, laying the EU / ROW pricing governance groundwork, and owning the parity roadmap with milestones per geography.
- Lead AI-first automation, reporting and cost-out for the payments and pricing space - extending Orcha/AI validation agents to every recurring control, training Payment Ops on agent-driven checks, contributing Finance inputs to VPA 2.0, Shield anomaly detection and the Dispute Reduction Framework, publishing the weekly payments controllership flash and Payments MBR metrics, and identifying validated cost avoidance and savings for the DSP Cost-Out MBR.


A day in the life
- Reviews the week's variable payment runs and pending FMP, Walker and exception payments - validating against rate cards and agent-driven checks, approving what passes, and working high-dollar disputes through the tiered framework with root-cause evidence
- Partners cross-functionally with Pricing, Payment Ops, Trans CS and CO India - auditing rate-in-system against approved rates, ensuring Finance checkpoints are met before rate changes land, and tracing payment defects back to their upstream pricing or process cause
- Owns controllership narratives for leadership - translating exception trends, audit findings and automation progress into the weekly payments flash, bi-weekly leadership updates, GRC evidence packages and Internal Audit responses
- Advances WW parity and automation - onboarding the next EU or ROW payment line into the DSP Finance validation framework, extending an Orcha validation agent to a new control, and documenting the SOP so the process scales without adding manual effort

Basic Qualifications:

- 3+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
- 3+ years of dissecting financial data and identifying patterns that support business strategy experience
- 3+ years of contributing to cross-functional initiatives that drive financial performance and strategy experience
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field (e.g., engineering, math, computer science)

Preferred Qualifications:

- 4+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience
- MBA, or CPA
- Knowledge of Tableau
- Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
