GDS TS - Talent Operations – UKI - Ireland

 

Job Summary:

Talent Services (TS) provides service offerings where the extended delivery model is used along with high-quality skills and competencies delivered virtually. This is across service lines and regions – delivering non-repetitive project-based work through skilled, agile teams. The team in the virtual hub is an extension of the regional talent teams and will cover operational/non-transnational scope.

Talent Operations TS supports specific Regions and acts as part of the extended Region Talent team.

It works in a fully integrated way with onshore colleagues participating in meetings, projects and planning activities as part of one team. The Team supports the Region in performing operational and administrative tasks to allow the onshore team to focus on consultative and strategic activities based on the priorities of the Region.

The onshore team for this role is the Ireland Talent Team. It sits within the Core Business Services (CBS) function. Manage HRS processing ISQM controls Ireland’s 4,000+ employee strong workforce. The team is involved in nearly every stage of the employment cycle; from new joiner queries to managing changes to terms and conditions of employment to managing the leaver’s process for the firm. Their primary focus is to create an extraordinary place for individuals to create their future and have a challenging and rewarding career however long they choose to stay with EY.

They achieve this by collaborating with the business by leveraging their talent, building out an engagement culture, challenging themselves and focusing on innovation.

The role will support the HR Services team in Ireland to provide a wide range of employee lifecycle activities supporting 4,000 employees across the Republic of Ireland firm (UKI and FSO).

Applications Used: SuccessFactors Employee Central (EC), SAP Core HR, Service Now (SNOW), etc.

Shift: Aligned to the shift timings/schedule of the Region

 

Essential Functions of the Job:

Responsibilities:

  • Processing contractual changes for employees including changes to contract (hours, level, salary and benefits), contract extensions, transfers/secondments
  • Delivering excellent service in line with HR processes and ensuring service level agreements are achieved
  • Maintaining an up-to-date knowledge of current EY policy and processes and employment legislation
  • Proposing improvements to procedures, documentation and templates
  • Managing the firms right to work and leave of absence processes
  • Ad-hoc HR projects as they arise
  • Prepare reports for management to summarise data and show trends
  • Develop HR solutions by collecting and analysing information, recommending courses of action
  • Review employee and business requests in line with firm policies, escalating or obtaining approval for non-standard requests where appropriate.
  • Support monthly payroll activities, including preparation of payroll instructions, payroll validation and responding to employee payroll queries.
  • Liaise with onboarding & recruitment teams in processing monthly contractual payments to employees via payroll (referral, relocation & sign on bonuses)
  • Provide support for the firms myReward benefit portal and benefit administration including private healthcare etc.

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion when handling sensitive employee information.
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Strong team player with the ability to build relationships and support cross-functional collaboration

 

Job Requirements:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree, preference will be given for those with HR specialisation

 

Experience:

  • Minimum of 4 years of progressive experience in HR system
  • Demonstrated experience working with different stakeholders with competing needs
  • Working in international and diverse environments
