Job Summary:

A Production Associate Senior operates equipment and performs processes to build hardware.  Rigorously documents processes performed in electronic tracking systems.  Executes tasks to ensure that the equipment and processes being used are in control.  Works alone or within a team of operators to coordinate process steps during the hardware build. 

*1st Shift - 6:30AM – 3:00PM - Goleta, California. This position is an onsite role.*

Responsibilities to Anticipate:

• The ability to work in a class 100 cleanroom, in a full bunny suit, under yellow lights is required.

• Operation of semiconductor style equipment (coat, expose, develop, wet etch, hotplate, surface treatment, deposition, metrology, inspection tools, hybridizers etc) to build hardware. 

• Following written procedures and work instructions

• Handling fragile hardware and manually manipulate small parts during processing. 

• Documenting data on travelers and in the electronic database

• Utilize strong interpersonal communication skills with peers, support teams and management.

• Cross-training will be on going and requires the ability to learn new processes, equipment, techniques through guidance and direction from their trainers.   Routine work is performed with minimal supervision. 

Basic Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED

• Minimum 4 years general work experience, with at least two of those years including mechanical, assembly or manufacturing jobs.

• Has experience in MS Office (Excel)

• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 4 years of mechanical assembly or manufacturing experience.

• Experience with manual and semi-automated processing equipment.

• Experience in a cleanroom environment

• Ability to work safely with chemicals and raw production materials. 

• Ability to multitask.

• The salary range for this role is $18.27 to $41.35; however, Raytheon considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

•           Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home).  An employee may be expected to travel to the site location as needed.
