Job Description: QA Automation Engineer

We are looking for an experienced QA Automation Engineer with strong expertise in Selenium-based automation and API testing. The candidate should have hands-on experience developing and maintaining automation frameworks, along with good knowledge of Java, REST/SOAP APIs, and CI/CD processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust automation test scripts using Selenium WebDriver and Java.
• Build and enhance reusable test automation frameworks.
• Perform API automation and validation using Rest Assured.
• Test REST and SOAP APIs, including request/response and integration validations.
• Execute functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end automated testing.
• Analyze automation failures, identify defects, and support root-cause investigation.
• Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with developers, QA teams, and business stakeholders to ensure high-quality releases.
• Maintain test cases, automation scripts, test data, and execution reports.

Required Experience

• Strong hands-on experience in Selenium WebDriver with Java.
• Experience in designing or working with automation frameworks.
• Strong hands-on experience with Rest Assured for API automation.
• Good understanding of REST and SOAP web services.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and automated test execution pipelines.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and automation best practices.
• Good analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Git/version-control tools.
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum delivery environments.
• Exposure to Maven/Gradle and test frameworks such as TestNG/JUnit.
