Job Description

The Change Manager is the single-threaded owner of the end-to-end Change Management scope for GESI-IN, every stage from intake through delivery and post-implementation review. No change request enters, moves through, or exits the pipeline without the Change Manager's governance. The mandate rests on seven pillars:
• Change Management Process Ownership — own the design, roll-out, and enforcement of Amazon's standardized change management process across GESI-IN, ensuring consistent adoption at every site and function.
• Steering Committee Partnership & Scope Control — serve as the primary interface between change requestors and the Steering Committee; present, review, and disposition all change/OP requests, and maintain full control of the approved change scope for GESI-IN.
• End-to-End Delivery Control — manage, monitor, and control each approved change request from initiation through execution to customer delivery, owning schedule adherence, dependency tracking, and escalation until closure.
• Risk Analysis & Mitigation — identify, quantify, and mitigate risks across all active change requests; maintain an org-level risk register and drive proactive resolution before impact materializes.
• GESI-IN OP Plan Governance — document, manage, and control all approved change requests as a key input provider for the org's OP1 and OP2 planning cycles. Ensure RSP scenarios are complete for every approved CR and produce the peak headcount plan and graphical presentations required for leadership OP documents.
• Change Request Execution & Reporting — push approved change requests (ATL/BTL categories) into Source, actively manage and control project health and risk for each CR and deliver periodic performance reports (weekly/monthly) with risk analysis to provide leadership full visibility into pipeline status.
• Estimated Capex Consolidation — partner with requestors and relevant stakeholders to develop, validate, and consolidate the estimated Capex for all approved Change Requests across GESI-IN during OP1 and OP2 cycles, spanning all categories: (1) Construction, Compliance, Safety, Associate Experience, and Replenishment; (2) POR Retrofit & Expansion Capex; (3) Study/Assessment; (4) Sustainability; and (5) ROI/Automation.


Key job responsibilities
1. Own the change management process and ensure full adoption.
2. End to end management of all approved changes.

A day in the life
1. Daily Review and monitor approved changes.
2. Organise meeting with stakeholders to review the statuses of approve change requests.
3. Create periodic report of Org change management for leadership visibility.

About the team
This is GESI (Global Engineering Services Intl' - India) that deliver projects (New build & Retrofit) for IN network expansion and consolidation.

Basic Qualifications:

- 3+ years of program or project management experience
- 3+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience
- 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL
- Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements

Preferred Qualifications:

- 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience
- 3+ years of driving process improvements experience
- Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
- Experience building processes, project management, and schedules
- PMP certificate, or CPA
- Experience leading process improvements
- Experience communicating with a wide range of stakeholders, including colleagues and leadership, or experience managing teams
- 5+ years of change management experience
