The opportunity

Join EY PSA Solutions, a Luxembourg regulated Professional of the Insurance Sector, and help deliver governance, compliance, risk, regulatory and outsourcing services to (re)insurance undertakings and insurance distributors.

As a Senior Consultant, you will lead workstreams, advise clients and contribute to the growth of EY PSA Solutions while developing your insurance regulatory, conduct and Anti-Financial Crime expertise.

Your key responsibilities

Client and market development

• Lead PSA workstreams and build trusted relationships with client stakeholders.
• Facilitate meetings and workshops, identify client needs and contribute to proposals and business development.
• Monitor insurance market and regulatory developments to identify client opportunities.

Engagement delivery

• Deliver engagements across governance, compliance, Anti-Financial Crime (AFC), risk and insurance operations.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and ensure timely, high-quality delivery in line with EY standards.
• Perform assessments and reviews, develop pragmatic recommendations, and support project planning and stakeholder reporting.

Regulatory and technical contribution

• Develop and review policies, procedures, control frameworks, governance documentation and regulatory reporting materials.
• Advise on Luxembourg insurance requirements, including IDD, Product Oversight and Governance, distribution oversight, conduct risk and customer protection.
• Support AML/CFT, sanctions, KYC/CDD, transaction monitoring and financial crime risk management assignments.
• Contribute to regulatory watch, methodologies, knowledge sharing and robust engagement documentation.

Team development

• Coach junior colleagues, review their work and provide constructive feedback.
• Contribute to recruitment, onboarding, training and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Commercial, collaborative and solution-oriented mindset, with a high degree of autonomy.
• Knowledge of governance, compliance, AFC, risk management, internal controls and insurance regulation.

To qualify for the role you must have

• Master's degree in finance, business administration, law, economics or a related field.
• At least 2 years of professional experience in insurance and/or reinsurance, gained in consulting, an insurance undertaking, a regulator, internal audit, compliance, risk or regulatory advisory.
• Experience in at least one of the following: governance, risk and compliance; AFC; IDD and conduct regulation; insurance operations; or Luxembourg insurance regulation.
• Experience contributing to client engagements and interacting with senior stakeholders.
• Fluency in English and French; additional languages are an asset.

Ideally, you'll also

• Have exposure to regulatory remediation, transformation, managed services, outsourcing or target operating model projects.
• Understand Luxembourg insurance market practices, IDD requirements and evolving AFC obligations.
• Hold, or be working towards, ACAMS or another relevant compliance, risk, audit or financial crime qualification.
