Sr. Supply Chain Manager, Robotics - Shanghai | Amazon Job

Job Description

It's a 2-in-1 role, combining the role of a SQE (supplier quality engineer) and experienced supply chain manager, as a member of RIVR’S Supply Chain and Manufacturing team. ● In this role, firstly you will be responsible for creating a supply pool and engaging suppliers of all robotic relevant commodities ( e.g. diecasting, injection molding, batteries, sensing parts, domain controller, etc. ) and perform comprehensive supplier quality auditing before supplier nomination, providing risk assessment for decision makers. ● Secondly, you will be responsible for establishing supply chain and manufacturing teams’ daily workflow, defining deliverables, work processes and integrating the team's needs into ERP and PLM systems. ● Thirdly, you will be responsible for dealing/pushing for solutions with supplier sides’ issues that arise from the prototyping phase into the volume-production phase. You need to work collaboratively with suppliers to troubleshoot, identify opportunities for process improvements, and quality enhancement, and production capability scale-up. ● Fourthly, you might very likely need to take the lead for strategic projects with external partners（especially in the Pam-Asia region）, coordinating resources externally and internally.

Basic Qualifications:

- 5+ years of program or project management experience
- 5+ years of supply chain experience
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership

Preferred Qualifications:

- 2+ years of driving process improvements experience
- Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field
