Must Have Technical/Functional Skills

•5+ years of experience in component certification in major markets including US and CE 

•Define and execute regulatory testing and conformity assessment pathways (e.g., EU Notified Body Modules, FCC Certification/Supplier’s Declaration of Conformity). 

•Translate regulatory requirements—including RF spectrum efficiency, EMC, SAR/MPE exposure, and electrical safety—into concrete technical design criteria for hardware and antenna engineers.

•Plan, schedule, and oversee compliance testing programs at accredited third-party test houses. 

•Compile, review, and maintain Technical Documentation (TD) files for CE marking, draft EU Declarations of Conformity (DoC), and prepare complete FCC grant application packages (including schematics, block diagrams, and operational descriptions).

•Advice on correct compliance labeling requirements (e.g., FCC ID, CE Mark) and support post-market surveillance activities, addressing any emerging compliance issues. 

Roles & Responsibilities

•Define and execute certification and regulatory compliance strategies for products targeted at global markets, including the US and EU.

•Interpret and communicate regulatory requirements to engineering teams, ensuring compliance is incorporated throughout product development.

•Plan, schedule, coordinate, and oversee compliance testing activities with external laboratories and certification agencies.

•Prepare, review, and maintain technical compliance documentation, certification files, Declarations of Conformity, and FCC submission packages.

•Act as the primary technical interface with Notified Bodies, Telecommunication Certification Bodies (TCBs), and FCC/market surveillance authorities. 

•Provide guidance on compliance labeling requirements (FCC ID, CE Marking, etc.) and support post-market compliance investigations, audits, and corrective actions. 

Education

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.

5+ years of hands-on experience in product certification and regulatory compliance for wireless/electronic products for US & CE

Salary Range: $100,000-$125,000 a year
