ROLE : Senior Consultant, Learning Transformation & Change
Experience : 7–9 years, including substantial client-facing L&D consulting experience
Capability profile : Learning consulting with deployable organisational change management capability
Engagement model : Workstream ownership; proposal solutioning; client-facing delivery
Travel : India-based with willingness for short- or long-term deployment across KSA, UAE and Qatar
THE OPPORTUNITY
The Senior Consultant is a founding delivery and pursuit hire for the growing MENA Learning & Change capability. The role translates complex client and RFP requirements into practical learning, adoption and capability-building solutions, then owns key workstreams through delivery.
The successful candidate will combine Learning & Development consulting, organisational change management, proposal development, facilitation and responsible AI usage. The role supports MENA priorities, with KSA as the primary growth market and government, energy and financial services as sector priorities. One of the two Senior Consultant vacancies will require demonstrated business-level Arabic proficiency.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Client delivery and workstream ownership
- Own one or more learning and change workstreams across scope, quality, schedule, effort, dependencies, risks and client communication.
- Lead discovery interviews, focus groups, learning needs analyses, skills-gap assessments, stakeholder workshops and design sessions.
- Translate business outcomes into capability frameworks, curriculum architectures, blended learning journeys, facilitator-led experiences and measurement plans.
- Produce and quality-review client-ready strategies, roadmaps, workshop packs, recommendations, dashboards and implementation plans.
- Facilitate stakeholder and learner sessions and present workstream recommendations to client managers and senior stakeholders.
- Coach Staff Consultants and coordinate specialists, designers, facilitators and technology contributors across the workstream.
Learning transformation and change management
- Design integrated learning and adoption approaches covering audience analysis, impacts, readiness, stakeholder engagement, communications, training, reinforcement and sustainment.
- Apply instructional design methods such as ADDIE or SAM to learning journeys, curricula, academies, leadership programmes and capability-building interventions.
- Develop learning operating model, managed learning services, governance, intake, content operations and performance-measurement components where relevant.
- Support leadership assessment-led development assignments, including administration and interpretation when appropriately accredited, and convert insights into development pathways.
- Use evaluation and analytics approaches to measure participation, learning transfer, adoption and business impact.
Pursuits, proposals and business development
- Independently draft solution approaches, proposal narratives, methodologies, workplans, staffing models, delivery plans, assumptions, risks and effort estimates.
- Analyse RFP requirements, develop compliance matrices and help create differentiated win themes and client-specific solution stories under tight turnaround times.
- Create proposal slides, capability showcases, credentials, case studies, benchmarks and sector research for MENA partner and account teams.
- Participate in partner reviews, solution workshops and oral presentation preparation; present assigned sections confidently when required.
- Identify follow-on opportunities during delivery and shape them into a clear problem statement, proposed response and indicative scope.
AI-enabled learning and technology
- Use Microsoft Copilot and other approved generative AI tools for research, synthesis, proposal development, learning design and content acceleration in line with firm policies.
- Design AI-enabled learning use cases, with particular emphasis on a learning content generation accelerator, personalised journeys and analytics-assisted decisions.
- Apply human review, factual verification, accessibility, privacy, confidentiality, intellectual property and quality controls to AI-assisted output.
- Bring working knowledge of LXP, AI learning platforms, talent marketplaces, LMS ecosystems and learning analytics to solution design.
- Guide Staff Consultants in effective prompt design, AI-assisted production and responsible review practices.
Capability building and internal contribution
- Build and maintain reusable proposal content, credentials, case studies, research, methods, templates and delivery assets.
- Convert project learning into portfolio intellectual property and support capability demonstrations and internal roadshows.
- Contribute to recruitment assessments, onboarding, coaching, certification pathways and community-of-practice activity.
- Balance client delivery with pursuit and capability commitments in a lean, growth-stage team.
SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES FOR SUCCESS
- Consulting judgement: structures ambiguous problems, forms hypotheses, makes evidence-based recommendations and knows when to escalate.
- Dual capability: can lead both a learning design conversation and a change/adoption conversation without treating them as separate disciplines.
- Proposal craft: writes clear, persuasive and executable solutions rather than generic capability statements.
- Facilitation and design thinking: designs productive workshops and moves diverse stakeholders towards decisions.
- Client communication: produces director-ready documents and communicates confidently in virtual and in-person settings.
- AI fluency: uses AI to increase speed and quality while retaining human accountability and professional scepticism.
- Builder mindset: creates reusable capability while meeting immediate delivery requirements.
